From my very first trip into a hair salon, I knew that I wanted to become a hair stylist. In pursuing that goal, I graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing. I have continued my education with advanced training in updo artistry, dimensional color and the most current haircuts and styles.

In February of 2008 at the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago, I was privilaged to be the assistant to a fabulous platform artist/colorist from Lisap USA. After that career defining experience, I was honored to be invited to join the top notch team at Lisap USA as a color educator. At the Ohio Hair Show, in September of 2008, I will be teaching and educating hair designers from all over the country new color techniques and trends.

I have seen firsthand how gratifying and transforming the proper use of color and placement can be for the client and the stylist and that is why I enjoy the field of education so much. I treasure the experiences that I have had with my clients knowing that something I have done has truly impacted their day for the better.
